This LEAP course provides students with an in-depth US History course covering American history from the Exploration period to 1990. In May students may choose to take the College Board AP Test. If teh student scores (1-5) a 3, 4, or 5, may receive between 3-6 college credits (this varies from university to university). Students taking AP courses experience a challenging course that prepares tehm for teh rigors of college. Beginning this year 10th graders will be allowed to take AP US History as a sophomore.
