It is the spring of 1776. For the past ten years there has been conflict between the American colonies and Great Britain. Last April, the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord and a battle was fought at Breed’s Hill. You have been asked to serve on a panel to debate whether it is right to be at war with Great Britain and want to break away from them. You will be trying to convince some neutral colonists to believe in your cause. You will be one of the following:
a Patriot (a colonist who wants to break away)
a Loyalist (a colonist who is loyal to Great Britain)
a neutral colonist
